Our Story
Immunisation Station was conceived in Perth, Western Australia by two very passionate Pharmacists with an idea to expand Pharmacist-led health services outside the bricks and mortar of traditional community pharmacies.
We are Winnie and Ann, two registered Pharmacists and working mums with over 40 years of combined experience in community pharmacy and the health industry.
For years, Winnie has been visiting Ann and her 4 young children at home to administer their flu vaccines. Between work and family commitments, Ann had very little time to make that daunting trip to the pharmacy or medical centre and chase her children around so her best friend Winnie became her annual fluvax saviour!
Our idea was that Pharmacist-led services could be provided as a mobile service. Our hope is that by improving accessibility and convenience, we can improve health outcomes to more people by providing businesses, clubs, schools, recreation centres and organisations a convenient and accessible Pharmacist-led healthcare option.
Immunisation Station was then born!
